Herbie Armstrong, one time collaborator and guitarist for Van Morrison became a firm favourite with the British public when he reached the Semi Final Of Britains Got Talent earlier this year. Famous for having been stopped by Amanda Holden and asked to play 'something else' he went straight into 'Have I Told You Lately That I Love You' written by Van Morrison and received a standing ovation from the studio audience. Since then Herbie Armstrong has been on numerous radio and TV shows, is planning a tour to promote the release of this album, and has already appeared on BBC Breakfast TV. Featuring a collection of original material as well as Mandy and Have I Told You (both performed on Britains Got Talent), this set showcases not only his song-writing talents but his first class guitar playing and soulful vocals. There a whole cast of top musicians backing Herbie, including Peter Van Hooke, Patrick O Hearn, Pee Wee Ellis and Rod Argent.
