Blog Entry: I love the internet... don't you? Where else can a nobody, no name like myself get international attention (however meager it might be) while I sit comfortably in my little studio, hanging with the shrubbery, eatin' cheetos, worshiping the moon? What would I have to do to get this kind of attention from the t.v. networks, radio, newspaper - kill someone or write better songs and I am capable of neither. So I turn to the internet, the only mass media outlet starved enough for content that they will let anyone post – and that decision has made all the difference. I am actually quite excited about this medium because it is bringing regional music back in a big way. For too long the record companies have been jamming their version of entertainment down our collective throats, spending millions hyping everything but the music. Now music is back in the hands of the starving masses, the zero talent punks like me who only want to share our soul with you and maybe some cheetos. What I am trying to say is thanks… thanks for finding me in this vast expanse of information, entertainment and porn, for checking me out when there are so many more that need checking out, for holding my hand in the snow so that I won’t fall, thanks for everything.
